Jay Bridgland's Gallery

Jay Bridgland's Gallery Jay Bridgland discovered glass flameworking in 1994 and was so
excited by the limitless possibilities of this modern art form that
he dedicated himself to mastering the skills and techniques required
for building a strong artistic foundation particular to borosilicate
art glass.

Jay currently owns Bridgland Studios, based in the San Francisco Bay
Area, and heads the Glass Flameworking Department at The Crucible
School of Fire Arts in Oakland CA. Jay’s quest for perfection of
technique and development of style continues and he makes an annual
trek to the mecca of italian art glass in Murano, Italy to work with
and learn from the Italian glass maestro, Cesare Toffolo.
